HOME GROUPS

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)

The first Christians met regularly to hear & share truth

Our home groups are smaller mid-week gatherings that meet during school terms. We call these ‘home groups’, because they are places where we can feel at home and share our lives with each other. At these gatherings we catch up to chat, pray, snack, read the Bible, and think about what it means for us. We currently have four groups. The first meets every Monday afternoon at 1.30pm. The second meets every Thursday night at 5pm for a ‘pot luck’ dinner followed by a Bible study and prayer time from 6.30pm. The third also meets on Thursday nights, but a bit later at 7pm. And the fourth group, which is for ladies, meets every second week on Friday afternoons at 12.45pm. The Bible study material we use generally follows our sermon series and is usually distributed to members of groups by their leaders or collected from our Administration assistant, Somien.
